Change The Environment!

Environment Quote Changes Destiny TheRay

So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.

Thanks to COVID.

These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.

Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.

They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were.

My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.

Change the environment.

I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.

Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.

Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person. It stated that when the person got saved, that the impure spirit left. Finding it impossible to live in the saved person any longer.

However, instead of the saved person continuing to create an uncomfortable environment for the impure spirit, they left it still habitable for him to not only come back but to bring seven more like him with him.

It's impossible to be delivered or change and still gravitate towards the things that you use to be around before you were saved.

There must be some form of change in your life. A change of scenery, a change of view, a change of heart.

If you know you were a person grafted after fornication, then you should make your environment uninhabitable for that spirit to lurk.

You should change your location from being always alone and ready for that person to come by, to always busy with the Lord's work and unavailable for any kind of company of that kind.

If you were drunkard and on the road to recovery, then make the desire of alcohol unable to conquer you, by changing the route you take to go home. No longer will you pass the bar, or even have it in your home any longer.

On the road to destiny, it is vital to make efforts to change your environment.

To go out of your way to not be the same person you shed off.

You can not do this by expecting your environment to change by itself.

This is something that has to be done manually.

It has to be intentional!

I dare you today to evaluate your surroundings. See what is still in your reach that shouldn't. What can still cause you to change back to the old you.

Make do, to get rid of it.

And, do not be like the saved person in the scripture context. The one who just cleaned up, but didn't continue to not only clean but to make themselves habitable for what is righteous and pure.

Once you have changed your environment, continue to keep it that way. Continue to only allow things that would make the environment clean and produce what is needed for your spirit to survive. An environment that would become a reproach to the sins of your past.

It's time we go ahead and change our environment.
