  I was laying down the other night and God begin to pour some knowledge.  Of course, what I assumed would be an early night was automatically shifted to a night of wisdom impartation.  He said " My sheep know my voice"  I didn't understand why the statement. I felt like it was so random, but then I begin to ponder on it a bit.  Oftentimes, we battle with the concept of knowing the difference of who is speaking in our heads.  Is it God? Is it me? Is it the devil? Many times I was asked the question of how to know God's voice.  I heard before that there are always three voices in our heads.  Ours, God's, and then the devil's.  Ours is often layered with doubt and negativity. If we are asked to do a task like pray for someone or give to another, our voice would often reply with doubt if that was really the instruction.  Basically, we would find a way to talk ourselves out of the task or nudge to do something clearly perceived as good....

  Hi!  Welcome back to our series on the Fruits of the Spirit! Today we're talking about Faithfulness.  Now, when we hear about faithfulness it's often referring to either God's commitment to us or someone's commitment to another.  And, in a way, we are correct about this assumption of this meaning.  When translated into its Greek form it is Pistis. It means truth or a conviction of truth.  Fidelity in Christ.  A reliable character The Google definition of Faithfulness describes it as the quality of being faithful, fidelity. Learning the definition of this word opened the fact that to be faithful may be definitely challenging for us.  It is the very opposite of our nature. As humans, we are very much finicky.  It's a reason that God's spirit doesn't thrive with man at all times. (Genesis 6:3) This fruit is definitely one of the hardest ones to bear at times. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the  Lord  said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The  Lord  does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance,  but the  Lord  looks at the heart.”   There has been a huge misinterpretation of the body of Christ.  I know I may have spoken about this before, or possibly touch on this but I am going to reiterate it once again.  There is a huge problem when it comes to the image of the body of Christ.  The tradition of having the image of someone who loves and does not judge, or being filled with the Holy Spirit. Even the image of being kind to others is just that, an image.  We, as the body of Christ, are becoming too desirous of the image of being perfect than our hearts being perfect.  We portray kindness once there are eyes on us, we don't judge when it is convenient for us and we love in a small amount of doses, but this i...

  Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for waking me up this morning. Lord, I thank You for allowing me to see another day. Thank You for keeping me in the right frame of mind.  Lord, I ask that You go before me today,  Remove every crooked path, danger, or trap set up for me. Grant me wisdom, knowledge, and discernment so that I may walk right with You Lord, let my conversations be healthy. Let my decisions be directed by You. Cleanse me from every sin and renew a right spirit within me. Lord, order my steps. Cover me in my going out and my coming in From every harm seen or unseen. Lord, I glorify You for another day, another time above ground. I pray that in the end, You will get the glory. In Jesus' Name,  Amen.

  During my time in prayer, God and I were talking and I began to reflect that in the midst of what I was going through, He continued to bless me. He supplied everything I needed when I needed it the most.  It blew my mind because it was like I would feel my heart crave for it, or my spirit craved for it and I wouldn't even voice what it was I needed, but He sent it.  Just what I needed.  Immediately, I wanted to share this news with you guys.  I wanted to encourage someone that might be going through, that God still gives blessings in the midst! Now normally when I have a post, I like to associate it with a scripture or a verse and I originally didn't have anything of the sort because this was based on personal experience.  However, as I begin typing I begin to be reminded of a bible story and this is one we all know all too well.  It's the woman with the issue of blood.  I spoke about this a while back and it was called "Woman With the Issue of ...

  So I am currently reading the Word of God and I normally would finish doing so before writing, but I was only able to finish one chapter before this session start to download to me.  Psalm 106  It's a long chapter, but it mostly talks about the journey of the Israelites through their time in Exodus from David's Point of View. In one of the verses, which is verse 13, it says.  "But soon they forgot what He had done and did not wait for His counsel" This was after David tells us about God splitting the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross. This huge miracle, so big that thousands of years later it is still talked about, was forgotten by the Israelites along with so many others. The Israelites witness the signs and wonders of God when He sent plagues on the Egyptians.  They witness how powerful He is as He sent a death angel and wiped out every firstborn, except theirs.  They witness how final His Word is when He spoke things and they came into existence....

  Dear Heavenly Father,  You are Holy. You are righteous There is no one else that can compare to You Lord, You are love Love is You Father, I confess that I have allowed bitterness and anger to infest my heart I confess that I have allowed selfishness and pride to come into my life But, Lord, I am praying today that I will be release from the bounds of hate That resentment and grudge will be loose from me today Lord, I am asking for Your tender love and grace to step into my heart today That love that can cover all multitudes of sin can fester in my heart today Father, change the way my heart beats.  Let it not beat on negative and hateful views but on the unconditional love of You Let love be in my actions and not just in my words.
