There's More

Image
There has been something pressing in my spirit for a few days now and I have been trying to get it out of my mind, but it wouldn't shake me.  I felt the need that I have to share this with you because even as I begin to write, I feel the pressing begin to alleviate.  I want to tell you today that God says that "There is More"  He said that some of you are in a place in your life where you think that what has been given to you is all of it.  Yes, you appreciate the blessing, but you feel like there is something else.  God said that There is More! You thought that that was all He can do, but there is more He got in store. He said that He's not only going to bless you with it, but show you how to keep it.  He's not only going to show you salvation but how to stay on the path.  He's not only going to heal your body, but He's going to keep you healed.  He's going to keep fortifying the marriage that He restored.  He's going to keep granting...

A Mother in Waiting

Image
First, I would like to wish each and every mother who is reading this today,  You are so important, so appreciated, and so needed. Without you, there is no us! I normally have a post for special occasions like this to celebrate these lovely gems in our lives. The posts normally consist of mothers and when this one that I have is still a mother, her title didn't come to her until very late in her life. This post is going to be a very particular one.  I want to speak to a specific set of mothers out there today.  The one's in waiting. When I was asking God about who I should speak on, Sarai/Sarah was the mother who dropped in my spirit.  It was odd because although Sarah was the mother of all nations, out of all the mothers in the Bible, her story or role as a mother was very short. Basically, we hear about her being prophesied to be a mother and then waiting this long period and then bringing forth a son.  There is not much substance into the matter, you k...

The Good One, The Right One, The One.

It's love week! Happy  Valentine's Day to all of you! Today, I decided to stick to the theme of this week and give you this piece I had written a time back concerning relationships.  Now, if you're a real family of TheRay, you would know that I did have a portion on my Instagram @theraydestinys_ dedicated to relationship quotes and advice, but had slowed down completely.  Okay, I stopped.  But, that's mainly because I don't consider myself a relationship guru or a marriage counselor and I don't want to persuade anyone to think that my words were textbook factual. Even with this post, I want to put a disclaimer out there that I am not a relationship guru or marriage counselor. Please take these words of advice as just advice. If it works for you, then fine, but if not, leave it be. Let's get to it! The Good One, The Right One, and The One. I am sure that every one of us has experienced either one of these in a relationship before.  As I go into defining ea...

Christ Is Born

Image
Photo by Dan Kiefer on Unsplash   With Love, You were sent.  Delivery so significant that it made a star shine iridescent Every creature breathed a sigh of relief, some in wonder All of us sensing that a savior has come from yonder We brought three gifts, but they weren't enough We had no room, where you came was tough But, out of nothing, You made something Until this very day the wonders of You, we still sing Bless you, Mother, and thank you for your 'Yes'.  Bless you, Father, and thank you for passing the test. Now today we have the deliverer, one that came to us in the flesh Today we have a healer and a friend that could care less about our mess.  Today, Christ Is Born. our King, His Majesty, the Lord and Saviour Praise be to God, to our Prince of Peace, and the Lamb that reigns forever. ~J&M Remedies

Thanks Be To You

Image
Photo by Wilhelm Gunkel on Unsplash  Thanks be to You, I no longer crave the feeling of love.  Thanks be to You, I'm wrapped up in unconditional outpourings from above.  Thanks be to You, I no longer know what it is to long for anything.  Thanks be to You, I have a shepherd that makes sure I lack nothing.  Thanks be to You, I am no longer bound and chained.  Thanks be to You, I am paid for, there is no price tag to my name.  Thanks be to You, I am no longer lost Thanks be to You, I have a way paved, light up with the cross.  Thanks be to You, I am no longer an orphan Thanks be to You, through Your blood I am lineage, no papers for adoption.  I am everything and all that You want me to be.  I'm made whole because You fell in love with someone like me.  I have no words to express my gratitude, that's impossible.  But, I'll say thank You for who You ...

Thankfulness

Image
Quick!  Name three things you are grateful for right now! ... What were they? Tell me in the comment section below! I love this part of the year because we often get this time to reflect on our lives and what we accomplished so far. We think about the people in our lives and all that God has done for us. Most importantly, we show gratitude.  I can't speak for everything, but when I think about the things that I am grateful for, I tend to end up with a long list. There have just been so many things that have occurred over this year that I am more than grateful to God for bringing me out. If you don't know where to start, I have many options for you.  Let's remember that today as you read this, you have breath in your body.  You woke up in the right frame of mind and you got the strength, no matter how little to go on just for another day.  For those of us who have a family that is still in good health and present....
