Lay Low Soar High

Image
I know.   I know.  It's been a long time and so many things have happened that I need to share with you.   There's really no excuse for my absence other than life really taking drastic changes and me trying to maneuver in it. (I'll write a post about that later)  I want to know how everyone's has been? What's up? (Drop the comments below)  However,  I am writing today about a word that I recieved and got the pressing matter to  share.   He said its for someone, "Just because you are laying low in your life right now, does not mean He has count you out"  God said, "So often people associate the posture of laying low with negativity, but that is the enemy's thought seed planting and never His intentions".  When we worship, we get low in spirit and physical, so why would that posture that God loves be wrong.  God said, "I have placed you in that position because when I elevate you, it will be only I that gets the ...

Faithfulness- DO you have these fruits

Image
Hi!  Welcome back to our series on the Fruits of the Spirit! Today we're talking about Faithfulness.  Now, when we hear about faithfulness it's often referring to either God's commitment to us or someone's commitment to another.  And, in a way, we are correct about this assumption of this meaning.  When translated into its Greek form it is Pistis. It means truth or a conviction of truth.  Fidelity in Christ.  A reliable character The Google definition of Faithfulness describes it as the quality of being faithful, fidelity. Learning the definition of this word opened the fact that to be faithful may be definitely challenging for us.  It is the very opposite of our nature. As humans, we are very much finicky.  It's a reason that God's spirit doesn't thrive with man at all times. (Genesis 6:3) This fruit is definitely one of the hardest ones to bear at times. Even in physical relationships with our spouses or families, humans tend to struggle ...

For Our Sake, We Must Remember

Image
So I am currently reading the Word of God and I normally would finish doing so before writing, but I was only able to finish one chapter before this session start to download to me.  Psalm 106  It's a long chapter, but it mostly talks about the journey of the Israelites through their time in Exodus from David's Point of View. In one of the verses, which is verse 13, it says.  "But soon they forgot what He had done and did not wait for His counsel" This was after David tells us about God splitting the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross. This huge miracle, so big that thousands of years later it is still talked about, was forgotten by the Israelites along with so many others. The Israelites witness the signs and wonders of God when He sent plagues on the Egyptians.  They witness how powerful He is as He sent a death angel and wiped out every firstborn, except theirs.  They witness how final His Word is when He spoke things and they came into existence....

My Breakthrough Is With Me!

Image
I was praying the other day, or talking to God, and the story of Jesus in the storm with His disciples began to unfold to me.  We all know the story and I am not referring to the one where Peter walks on water.  No.  I am referring to the one where Jesus told the wind to hush and the waves to stop their chaotic movement.  My breakthrough is with me! Mark 4:5-41 is where you can read the story.  At the beginning of the context, it said that God told the disciple to "Let's go to the other side"  An instruction or direction is given directly from God. However, in verse 37, after the disciples along with Jesus were already in the boat, a furious squall came up. It said that the waves broke over the boat, meaning it crashed so hard that water came up and over the boat to the point that it even begin to fill a little bit.  Even then, they were still dealing with the furious squall, which means a very strong and intense wind.  Here they were doing...

God Is Stepping In!

Hi! It's been so long since I sat behind this screen and wrote to you guys.  I've been missing for so long.  Right at this moment, I am writing from the valley. A place where I don't know how I will get out of.  I battled between leaning into the reality that I am in the valley and must work out my feelings and emotions before addressing you guys with anything.  Or. To use this moment that even in the valley to still allow God to use me to encourage someone else. I do not want my encouragement to be filtered by what I am going through because I am aware that not everyone is in the same valley. The thing is, encouraging someone else while you yourself are in need of encouragement is a strength-giving talent only given by God.  However, despite all of this, I chose the latter.  Writing, encouraging others, and spreading God's Word are MY love.  And I learned that even in the midst of my soul being broken and my heart being shattered, these things ...

I Am NOT Strong

Image
I am Not Strong.  I had this rude awakening the other morning.  If you are new to this blog, then you may not know this, but I sometimes struggle mentally-strength wise.  So, this blog is just not to assist, encourage and inspire you but it is also a great help to me. I called this stagnant in my mental health a seasonal thing. Meaning that it regularly tries to come and overcome me, but I must admit that lately, I am getting a bit wiser and stronger to its attacks. And before I move on, seasonal depression is something that should not be taken lightly.  You shouldn't accept it, just because it happens. Fight it until it is gone! Anyway, so my little unwanted friend visits, and I always hate it.  When people battle with these experiences it doesn't mean everything in our lives is necessarily bad or discouraging. It is more so to do with us and what we are allowing the enemy to get over on us.  This is why I hate it.  Because, why am I still goin...
