Prayer For Depression

Prayer Depression Pray TheRayDestiny

 

Heavenly Father, 
You are God, you are bigger than all my problems. 
You are bigger than all my worries. 

There are times, most times when I don't feel good. 
I don't feel happy and I don't feel encouraged. 
But, I have read that you say to cast my cares on You for You do care. 

You care about me because you open my eyes every day
You care about me because you sent your Son for me. 
You care about me because you provide so much for me, even though I sometimes don't see it

So, when those feelings come, Lord. 
Those feelings of being unworthy or not enough, 
Help me to remember to exchange them with You. 

Hate, anger, discouragement, whatever plagues me. I exchange them to You for Your Peace.

Your peace that surpasses all understanding, 
Able to guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. 
Let Your Word echo in my heart. 


Let me be reminded because where You are there is freedom. 
That every negative thought and feeling can not bound me because You are present with me. 
Let me think about whatever is noble, whatever is true, whatever is pure

Lord, please let me remember Your love for me when I don't feel love. 
Let me remember your presence is always with me when I feel alone. 
That you have given me joy when I feel sad. 

Give me the strength to want to go on another day. 
Don't let the negative thoughts get me. 

In Jesus' Name
Amen.

Change The Environment!

  So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.  Thanks to COVID.  These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.  Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.  They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were. My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.  Change the environment.  I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.  Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.  Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person.
