Thank you for keeping me.


Thank you for keeping me.
Sometimes that's all my prayer has
It's few words but their meaning surpass

It's multifaceted, and it means a lot
I can list a few to help you build the plot.

Thank You for keeping me safe. 
Every night I lay and every morning I rise with no harm.
I drive, walk, run and I'm covered by Your arm

Thank You for keeping me sane.
My mind wage war, but Your peace wage serenity
I can't even explain sometimes how in chaos I have tranquility.

Thank You for keeping me in love.
When the world is full of selfishness and hate, Your love, I see no shortage.
I'm wrapped and dipped in love to the point of overage.

It's this love that stretches from east to west. 
It's this love that reaches deep into my low valley or even high as an eagle's nest. 

Thank You for keeping me supported.
Not only with You showing up but connecting me with others
People that pray and encourage me, those that will cheer for me to walk on the water.

Thank You for keeping me narrow
A light unto my pathway, a level ground
Your voice as my guide, You made sure I know the sound.

That's why I say thank You for keeping me. 
Because it contains all of this. 
It's a plethora of meanings wrapped up in these words like a gift.

Thank you for keeping me.

Change The Environment!

  So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.  Thanks to COVID.  These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.  Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.  They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were. My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.  Change the environment.  I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.  Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.  Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person. Lay Low Soar High

  I know.   I know.  It's been a long time and so many things have happened that I need to share with you.   There's really no excuse for my absence other than life really taking drastic changes and me trying to maneuver in it. (I'll write a post about that later)  I want to know how everyone's has been? What's up?
