Let's Talk- Overcoming Issues
The question is:
"Do you think issues/problems disappear in time or do we have to confront them?"
I'm reminded of a post a while ago named "A True Overcomer". If you haven't checked it out, check that out and then come back and let's talk.
I have always been one who believes that in order to overcome a situation, you must confront it. But, I also know that not every battle needs to be fought and that one must look at the issue and see if it is worth resolving.
Of course, there are some issues/problems that we let live out way longer than they should, because we may also fear the result of confronting them. Therefore, we allow certain issues to go on in hopes that they would die out on their own, but do they ever really just die out on their own?
I personally think that avoiding the problem only makes it bigger and harder to deal with when it's actually time to deal with it.
Tell me what do you think?
Are you waiting for it to die on its own, or are you confronting it?
