Prayer to Remain Focus

Father, 
there is no one like You. 
You are King of kings and Lord of lords. 
I give You praise and glory!

Your servant says to press towards the mark of the prize of the higher calling. 
He stated that He will forget that which is behind him. 
Lord, I ask the same!

Help me to remain focused on the path that You have cleared for me!
Lord, let me give careful thoughts to the path that is safe. 
That I won't turn left or right but press on towards You. 

Lord, please allow my flesh to die and the habit of listening to my own carnal mind to direct me. 
In all my ways, help to not lean on my own understanding. 

Yes, there may be distractions and other obstacles that will come to try and distract me
But, Lord, I am asking for your strength to overcome such things.
Help me to not easily be swayed and to continue to trust in You.

Let me remain focused on You, Heavenly Father. 

In Jesus' Name, 

Amen.

Change The Environment!

  So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.  Thanks to COVID.  These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.  Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.  They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were. My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.  Change the environment.  I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.  Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.  Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person.
