I Will Have Peace!

 My battleground has no blood on its ground.
It doesn't have the G.I Joes, 
There are no military weapons to be found.

There are no barbwires, there's no warning alarms.
There's nothing to state its a battlefield, 
But yet, when I am there, I'm still harmed. 

I have done everything on its soil. 
I've waved my flag in surrender, I've fought mercilessly. 
I've hidden in the shadows from the turmoil

I've asked for peace, but its a tough bargain
Please just arrest my thoughts, silence the shouts
I just want to hear myself again

I sought to recruit, to have assistance in this war of me vs me
I heard that He can calm the storm.
And in the midst of the chaos, put a balm in Gilead.

He's a victor, an expert in the art of war
He's never lost one battle, all medals in His name.
He doesn't seek to even the plain, He dismantles the score.

He takes thoughts captive and completely demolishes arguments and pretensions
He takes the worry and put it all to rest
And peace is nothing without His intervention.

I'll have peace, it's His promise; His deal.
He straps the full armor on me, as we turn to our Goliath. 
"You will have peace. Just keep your mind on Me"

  So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.  Thanks to COVID.  These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.  Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.  They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were. My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.  Change the environment.  I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.  Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.  Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person.   1 Kings 17:16 "For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah" Hebrews 11:1 "For faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen" The verse taken from the book of 1 Kings is from the story of the lady who catered to Elijah during his time in her town.  Apparently, the lady was set to make her final meal for her and her son and then proceed to die from starvation. However, when Elijah came to her, he asked that she provide him food. She told him her plan, but Elijah still insist that she make him food and even told her that it won't be her last.  The verse tells us that the food never ran out.  She obeyed Elijah in providing a meal for him, regardless of her not seeing a way.  Although she had already come to her own conclusion, she still trusted in God that his conclusion was better and in return, she saw the hand of God move in her life.   I know.   I know.  It's been a long time and so many things have happened that I need to share with you.   There's really no excuse for my absence other than life really taking drastic changes and me trying to maneuver in it. (I'll write a post about that later)  I want to know how everyone's has been? What's up?
