Happy Blessings God Favor Expectancy TheRayDestiny Quotes

 Luke 21:34
“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap."

I did a post about this before in the early beginning of my blog, but I want to go back and rehash it because I want to bring more awareness to it.

Stop waiting for the other shoe to drop!

That mindset is a ploy of the enemy to keep us in the constant mindset of worry and fear.

It decreases our self-esteem and worth. It closes our hands to accepting blessings because we think we are unworthy of them.

It binds us to the train of regression instead of progression.

The scripture used is the best to fit this kind of thinking.

It shows just what I meant when I said that it is a ploy of the enemy.

Worrying and waiting for the other shoe to drop makes us get so caught up that we not only miss the spiritual progress God has for us, but we also walk blindly into the End of time.

We live our lives always expecting and suspicious of the good in our lives that when the trumpet blows we have no spiritual substance to sustain us.

No faith.

No Word.

No Prayer.

No genuine love.

We are just surviving on fear, anxiety, anger, and disappointment.

The enemy wants us this way.

He wants us to believe that with every good thing, a bad thing is right around the corner.

He wants us to not enjoy the blessings and favor of God. He wants when God extends His blessing to us, to hold it with unsure hands because we want to know what's the catch.

Ok, so we get a new car, that means we're going to have car problems.

We get a new house, and no down payment, but we're expecting issues with the house.

A new job, so there has to be a horrible environment.

Finally, begin your family, then you must have to deal with some form of illness.

The enemy's ploy is to make us sabotage our blessings, so we would never enjoy or be grateful for them.

Have you ever noticed when things are going smooth for you, you start to get antsy because now you're expecting something bad to happen for you?

Like as soon as something bad happens, you immediately say, 'Well, I know that was going to happen because things were going too well for you.

That is not God's desire for your life.

He said that His plans for us are good and not evil. He wants to give us a prosperous end. He doesn't seek to destroy us, He seeks to bless us beyond the imaginable. (Jeremiah 29:11)

He wants to give us what we ask for.

To heal and restore us.

His plan for us is to be forever in favor. That is God's overall plan.

That in the end, we all meet up in Glory.

I pray that as you read this, you begin to shake off that thought process of sabotage and the expectancy of bad things to happen to you.

Start expecting positive things.

Start expecting that it will be alright.

That God has not only good in store for you but better.

That this is just the beginning, but there is more!
