Only God!

 Acts 4:12

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" 

I've been in countless situations where when it comes to my rescue I either try to save myself or try to get another person to do it. 

It took me a long time to figure out that in everything, only God will be able to bring me out. 

I had looked to friends,  devices, family, my mother especially, and even to my husband when I find myself in a bind, but in the end, God showed me that it was only Him that I truly need.

Now, the process of Him showing you this is a tough one to swallow. 

Especially when your faith was as weak as mine was. 

I didn't trust to depend on God too much when things get really real in my life. 

I had this horrible mindset that the issue may be too big for God. That I needed to handle this myself. 

So, when it came time to changing where I look for help, it was hard. 

I know, we have a lot of things in the world now where we try and find help. 

I see we have included asking the 'universe', consulting what our zodiac signs are, and trying many different kinds of avenues to help us spiritually, mentally, and physically. 

We are finding all kinds of different figures to push into the slots that can only fit the true and only person that can actually help us. 

The scripture said it best. 

There's no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. 

I hate to break it to you, but there's absolutely no other god, idols, or being that can truly save us other than the name of Jesus Christ the son of God. 

Yes, for a time it may seem like these other things and people are working. 

There's no doubt that the servants of Baal thought the same too.  Even the believers of  Artemis might have felt this way as well. 

There's no doubt that they may have seen an incident that made them believe that these idols and gods were actually working on their behalf. A coincidence that may have happened to get the ball rolling on their beliefs.

Before I was born again, I believe that as well. 

I didn't serve Baal and these other false gods, but my devices and the people I seek help from showed up for me too for a time. 

I thought they were actually doing what I needed them to do. 

You 'prayed to the universe' and it came to pass before, so it has to be true, right?

You called on this god or this person and they came through for you, so you don't see why not do so again. 

But, that is the illusion of it all, isn't it?

I thought that it was all good and dandy, too. That I was fine and even by going through these different routes I could possibly reach the same destination, but I was wrong. 

Only through Jesus would I be truly saved. 

Only through Jesus would I be able to come to the Father. 

Only through Jesus would I be blessed genuinely and loved truly.

There wasn't any loophole with coming to Yahweh. 

There was no need for me to wait for the sun and the moon to align or for me to wait a certain month either. There was no ritual to perform.

At any time and anywhere, we can call on the name of the Lord and our divine help would be on its way. 

And, the best thing I have learned about God's help was that there wasn't any time frame for it. 

There wasn't an expiration date or a certain amount for how much I can call it. 

This help didn't need to be seen through a medium or paid for a price. 

It was unconditional and forever. 

It didn't happen once and never happen again. 

This help was specifically designed always for exactly what I was going through. 

It helped me exactly where I needed assistance and even went the extra mile and help where I didn't know I need. 

This help was proactive because it made way to help in any future areas I might have an issue with again. 

This was God's help. 

This is what happens when you call on His name and He saves you.

To you my readers, I intrigue you today to get on the Jesus route. 

Stray away from the zodiac signs and the universe and all of these other routes that take you further and further away from God, but get on the Jesus route. 

It doesn't send you into a maze, but it is straight and narrow. Direct.

Get on the one name under heaven that can truly save you route.
