Clean Out For A Clean House

Question Remove Circle Friends TheRayDestiny Quotes Inspirational God Motivational

 Mark 5:40
"But they laughed. After He put them all out, He took the child's father and mother and the disciples who were with Him, and went in where the child was"

To put into context the scripture for today, this is the story about Jesus healing a child.

The story said that the child was already pronounced dead and that Jesus was too late to heal the child in man's time.

It states that when Jesus came to heal said child that there was a funeral already set in motion and on top of that the people made a mockery of His arrival.

Here it was something that was already dead and done, and now this man come out of nowhere stating that he can heal and deliver.

It was a joke to them.

In our lives, when we go through trials and so forth, this may be the reaction of many of those around us as well as even ourselves.

Already counting that whatever hope or dream is already dead and there is no coming back for it.

Forgetting that we serve a God that has no respect for whether something is dead or alive. If He speaks to it, it has no other choice but to do what He said.

However, when that is a message all in itself, I am not here to talk about that today.

I want to us to focus on the scripture above and pay more attention to the word, 'After'.

After means in the time following an event.

The next step.

It stated that it was After the removal of these people that had no faith in Him or the situation, that Jesus performed a miracle on the child.

Jesus waited until those who only came to spectate and didn't mean the child or the child's family well was removed from the room before He allowed the healing to flow.

When I was reading this, it blew my mind because this was the answer to so many of our questions when it comes to people being taken away from us.

It's the answer to our circles becoming smaller, or friendships being over after so many years of being together.

It is because these people can not be in the room for our breakthroughs.

When we see the false image they want to show us, God sees their hearts and knows that they don't want us to excel in life.

The people who were at the funeral were friends and family. They were mourning for the child too.

In hindsight, they would look like those who you can trust and depend on, but in actuality, they were there to make sure what was dead stayed dead.

How do I know?

Because when Jesus came with the hope and the power of resurrection to bring the very child that they were crying for to live, they laugh and mock the idea.

They didn't even share one grain of faith that it might possibly happen.

It's a tough thing to see those who you thought were praying for your success, is also simultaneously praying for your downfall, but we must trust in God that revealing them isn't to hurt us.

It is to clean the room.

It is to make way for what He truly wants to do in our lives and He must direct so and so out of it because their negativity is only delaying the process.

What I like about this same scripture is that after Jesus removed all of those who didn't mean well out of the room, He brought in those who truly loved and have faith in the child's miracle.

It states that He brought in the child's parents and His disciples.

These were the ones that believed in the resurrection.

These were the ones that wanted to see the child live again.

These were the ones that believed.

I find myself asking God to surround me with people like this.

I know I am not perfect and I know I can not stand on my own. I need a support system and friends in Christ.

Jesus brought in the child's true support system for their healing and that is what we must ask God for.

That those around us are true believers of His goodness and mercy.

That their love for you and I are of God and there is no hidden strife or jealousy.

Today, let's allow God to clean out for a clean house.

Let Him remove those people that we don't understand why there is so much conflict all of a sudden.

Remember He sees the heart. He knows who is for us and who doesn't mean us well.

When our lives are free from those who bring us down like naysayers, frenemies, and so forth, we are now able to experience the pure love and blessings that God has for us.
