Don't Give The Devil Chance!

Fight Vigilant Inspirational TheRayDestiny Quotes God

 Daniel 7:25
The enemy will come, speak against God, and wear out the saints of the Most High.

My husband has always had this saying since we got married.

Don't give the enemy a foothold!

Whenever we had an issue that might be considered small, he would try to deal with it. He had this thing of not allowing a problem that can possibly become bigger to slide by.

In other words, we couldn't leave the door cracked.

Ephesians 4:27
" Neither give place to the devil"

Today, I am here to be a caution sign. A reminder of sorts, for you to not allow the enemy a foothold in your life.

In many cases unknowingly, we allow the devil to have his way piece by piece when we refuse to confront what we deem as small.

Before we know it, the devil has a whole seat in the room that he doesn't belong in.

A little slip of the tongue.

A little peep.

A little sip.

A little time here.

A quick meet-up.

A little inhale.

There's no biggy, I can stop.

Daniel 7:25 shows how the enemy planned an attack that was so strategic that it would be unnoticeable. It said that he plot to wear them out.

Make them tired.

Bring them to a place, where when it's time for them to be strong they can't because he had broken them to a place of fatigue.

It's like a termite, gnawing on the walls of your home. Inch by inch weakening it over time, until anything, even wind can have it crumbling.

This is a plan that the enemy uses.

While we are here looking for some great opposition from him, he's working in the small instances.

The enemy is working in small spaces to get us tired.

He's gnawing with the 'stomach sakes' to get us to miss our way.

He's working in the 'this would be the last time' to get us derailed off the narrow path.

God is telling us today to be vigilant against these attacks.

He's telling us about these tactics so that we can be aware of them and not fall prey to them.

Nip those things in the bud right away.

Say No!

Confront those small little issues so you can avoid the big catastrophes.

Today, I am encouraging you to not let those things the enemy is trying to convince you are not that big slide on by.

No, we shouldn't be skipping more than a day of not reading our Bible.

No, we shouldn't be skipping prayer time or time with the Lord.

No, we shouldn't be speaking about our brothers and sisters in an ill manner.

Yes, we should give.

Yes, we should spread the Word of God.

Yes, we should spread love.

No, we shouldn't be watching that.

No, we shouldn't be listening to that.

Yes, we should go to church.

Yes, we should visit those who are sick and can't visit us.

Yes, we shouldn't allow that voice to persuade us from doing right.

Ask God to open our eyes, and give us discernment so that we can see the small attempts of the enemy to weary us.

Ask Him to show us, so that we can be able to put out the little spark of fire before it turns into a big one.

Let us become more aware in the spirit.

To be more conscious.

The goal is so that we can remain strong and ready for the Day.

Awake and clothed.
