If I Speak

If I speak,
It may be a bit too much.
All this to just die? It seems out of touch
If I speak,
I'll say I am not a strong fighter.
I was chosen for battle but wasn't there anyone mightier?
If I speak,
I'll say, I am failing.
I'm soaring through the air, hands flailing, I'm wailing
If I speak,
I'll say I am not ready.
I haven't been here long, not seasoned enough to be steady
If I speak
I'll say maybe choose someone else.
My tongue is not eloquent enough, I am no help.
But, something tells me what I say has already been heard
That it's been spoken before and fell on deaf sand carried by the bird
Analyzed and brushed off because someone else had already spoken
His Word final, whispered over mine, forespoken
Everything I would say I am not, He's already objected to it
He said I was made the opposite of what I believe, don't neglect it.
So, I may speak, but my word holds no ground, it can be erased
Because when He Speaks, that's it and it's final. No case
