They Will Hear
I'm currently in the New Testament and renewing my mind about the works and stories by not only Jesus but by the apostles that He left to finish the work.
What I often read when I study the parts of Jesus was the rapid way news about Him was spreading.
Not only when He was alive, but also when the apostles began to spread the gospel.
One of the stories that I would point out to help with this point is the man whom Jesus healed from leprosy (Mark 1:40-45).
After Jesus had healed him, he instructed the man to not say anything.
Yet, in the end, the man did the exact opposite as soon as he walked away from Jesus.
Yet, in the end, the man did the exact opposite as soon as he walked away from Jesus.
I want to be optimistic here and not condemn the man for being blatantly disobedient, but so overcome with joy that he couldn't keep the fact that he was healed a secret.
A disease that is for life was suddenly removed from his body and he could roam around freely something he couldn't shut up in his spirit.
He had to let it out.
The others had to hear.
They had to hear.
Now, I know you are wondering where I am going with this.
I am currently in-between times. I just got off from work and I have church in a few minutes, but I wanted to give you something to encourage your spirit today.
THEY WILL HEAR!
Some of you who are reading this have been going through a period of quietness.
Stillness.
You feel as if you are in a room. A waiting room.
There are no announcements of where you will go next. If you are next.
There have not been any updates and you have been wondering if you have been neglected.
I am here to tell you that, you have not been abandoned.
Matter of fact, because you have remained in position and faithful while in this period the blessing, the favor, the very thing that you need from God to push into your next step is coming.
Just like the man with leprosy, you thought that your sickness or your situation would have kept you bound into this stage of life.
But, Jesus is about to show up!
It is great that you didn't waiver in the silence.
It is awesome that you didn't allow the time of waiting to get to you.
Because in the next step, they are going to hear.
The man's testimony couldn't keep quiet and nor will yours!
They are going to hear about what God is about to do in your life and has already done.
And when I say "They will hear", I am not referring to the kind of self-boasting.
If I had not made this clear, I will now.
I am not meaning the self-satisfaction of gloating and showing your enemies or haters about what you finally "won".
No! God's blessings and goodness are too great to squeeze down to a size of just gloating.
When I say, "They will hear", I mean other souls who are in need of a breakthrough or healing as well.
Other people who needed to hear your testimony.
The scripture said the man spoke freely of what happened, spreading the news.
When I say "they"! I mean souls who are battling depression.
People who are in dark places waiting for just that spark of light.
People who need to see the true and living God.
People who know they are missing something in life, but can't put their finger on it.
Let them hear!
Let them hear about how good God has been to you.
Let them hear about the healing.
Let them hear about the deliverance.
Let them hear about His love.
Let them hear the Good news!
This is going to be a short post, but I wanted to share this word that has been bubbling in my spirit all day.
Don't be afraid to let them hear!
Let them hear about the days that were dark because now they will hear about the days that are bright!
Let them hear about the downs because now they will hear about the ups!
Let them hear when you felt He wasn't talking to you because now they will hear Him continuously use you for His glory!
It's this post that I shared the other day and I am going to end with that and get out of your way.
"The next fight will be the one that you win"
Some of us have been feeling like we have been losing every fight lately. Constantly being kicked to the ground.
On a loop of losses.
But, I am telling you to put your trust and faith in God because the next one will not end in the previous result.
You will be a winner.
You will overcome.
You will conquer.
