Declare It, Believe it, Maintain It

Believe Speak Declare God Maintain TheRayDestiny Quotes Inspirational

Firstly, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year again!

I am so excited to see what God has in store for us this year.

I don't know about you but going into this year, I have been very conscious of taking my feet off the pedal of my plans and allowing God to have full control of them.

If 2020 has taught me anything was that God laughs at our plans.

Normally when I am heading into a new year, I always sit down and ask God what is the goal for my life, my marriage, and my ministry.

I am fully aware that God can sometimes give us a plan but He often doesn't tell us the routes we'll have to go through to get there.

I also believe that we shouldn't impose on His careful steps to get us there. Meaning we shouldn't spend our days worrying or questioning God on what is next especially when we have already told Him to take the lead.

Now back on track, I asked God what is it that You want me to speak on for this year when it comes to my blog; my ministry.

I was told "Don't just SPEAK it, BELIEVE it"

Often we as humans give little to no credit to the little red thing that we have in our mouths. We underestimate how powerful it is.

And even if we know the power it holds and uses it, we still don't back it up with belief.

I know for sure, I was a victim of this.

I understood that I needed to speak things into existence.

I also knew that I could declare things in my life.

However, I would often get swept up in the gust of just wordplay but when I was finished I did not apply faith or belief to what I had declared.

But, God is telling us that in this season we can not only declare or speak it we must also believe that He can do it.

We can't only speak that we are healed or delivered or will receive that bountiful blessing or be married or give birth, we now have to believe that things will come to fruition.

How do we believe in these things?

We exercise faith!

You make preparation for these things whether mentally or physically.

We prove to ourselves that God will do it based on our reactions after declaring that it will be done.

For instance, if you have been praying and declaring that you would be healed, regardless of how your body feels afterward, you would begin to act as if it has already been done.

You won't receive the reports of the doctors or what your mind may try to put on you, but you would believe that you have been healed and delivered from every illness that plagues your body.

God is looking for us in this season to believe that He can and will do what He said over our lives.

We have to believe that which was spoken.

We have to exercise faith.

Now, I had only received it Don't just speak it but believe it, but I added on maintain it because consistency is important when it comes to exercising faith.

Trials and tribulations are temporary. They come and go, but the consistency of our faith is what gets us through each test.

We can not allow our faith or beliefs to be as inconsistent as the seasons in our lives.

One minute we believe that it is going to be a prosperous year for us and then when things go haywire we no longer believe.

We have to maintain the momentum of speaking over our lives the blessings and favor of God and believing that it will come to pass.

Ezekial 3:9, tells us about how Ezekial spoke to the dry bones and commanded that they come to life, meaning he declared something. He spoke it into existence.

But, what I love about something else that he did was he also spoke breath into them.

He not only wanted them to live, but he wanted them to keep on living; breathing.

He asked that which he believed to be maintained.

This is what keeping the faith is all about.

This is what maintains the miracle or that of which you declared!

Today, let us begin to believe in which we speak, and most importantly let us maintain it.
