 Proverbs 20:24
"A person's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?"

I find that this verse in Proverbs oddly made my trust in God become stronger and I hope that as I continue to expand on it, it will build your trust as well. 

Throughout my days, I often find myself whispering to myself "Girl what is it that you're doing?"

I have no idea what's going to happen or even what's happening right at the moment. I am not sure if this course is the course I need to take when it comes to where I want to go. I'm sometimes at a loss. 

I am not too certain what choice I should make, but this verse puts it all into perspective for me. 

That no matter what, the directions we take and the future that God has set aside for us are already set in place and we need only to trust in Him to direct us to it. 

There's no point in trying to understand and fully comprehend what's happening right now, because the verse says how can we?

God knows the way. He knows every step that we need to take to get there. 

This step may look a bit off, it may not look like the other few steps you took before. It may same higher, or even lower. It may be slanted or too balanced, but God is directing the way. 

He has already seen the path. He has already cleared the way and ensured that this is the right direction for you. 

We need to only follow the light from now on. Don't let the enemy weigh you down with confusion because you aren't able to see beyond a certain point and don't know whether or not to go. 

Trust can often be a blind action. 

We won't see what's beyond His hand that is holding us, but we do see that His hand is here to keep us. 

Trust that God will keep you in the midst of showing you where you need to go. 

We are not always going to see the finished product or even the full picture, but if we placed our feet in the already carved footprints of Jesus, I am positive our journies will be prosperous ones. 

So, instead of me whispering to myself, "Girl, what is it that you're doing?" I am not whispering to God, "I don't know what's happening now, but I am trusting in You to take me" 

I am now in the great belief that God won't lead me on a path that can harm me, nor will He deter me, but He will lead me to destiny. 

He will place our feet on solid ground and like a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, He will show us the way to Him. 

Trust in the process. 

Trust that His intentions with you are pure and right!

Trust that although my physical eyes see this, my spiritual eyes are seeing the path.

Change The Environment!

  So my husband and I were having a bit of a mosquito problem. I found numerous bumps on my legs, but it puzzled me because I rarely go outside.  Thanks to COVID.  These mosquitos were living in our house. They were surviving in our house.  Now, if you know mosquitos, they require a certain kind of environment to thrive.  They would need a bushy area, preferably with puddles or swamps. So, it puzzled me how they were surviving here in my house where none of those things were. My husband later told me to take out the dishwater before bed. That if they needed water to live, then remove what is helping them.  Change the environment.  I have read that in order to get rid of something, you must change the environment or the atmosphere that it is comfortable in.  Eventually, it will have to move because it will not find a resting place there anymore.  Matthew 12:43-46 speaks on the impure spirit who abided in a person.
